What Codecov (BYOK) is for
Codecov (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Codecov data through the Codecov API with a key you supply (API access token). Read-only: 10 tools (list_owners, list_repositories, get_repository, list_branches, list_commits, get_coverage_totals, list_pull_requests, get_coverage_trend, list_flags, list_components). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.codecov.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Codecov. Codecov and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which GitHub owners does my Codecov account have access to?"
- "What is the coverage of each repository in my Codecov organization?"
- "What is the overall coverage of codecov/codecov-cli?"
- "Which branches of my repository does Codecov know about?"
- "What was the coverage on the latest commits of my default branch?"
- "What is the current line coverage of my repository?"
What it does
list_owners: List the owners (users and organizations) on a git provider that the Codecov token can access, with username and name.list_repositories: List an owner's repositories on Codecov with language, default branch, active flag, last update and coverage totals.get_repository: Get one Codecov repository: language, default branch, active flag, last update and overall coverage totals.list_branches: List a repository's branches known to Codecov with last update time.list_commits: List a repository's commits seen by Codecov (optionally one branch) with message, author, CI result and coverage totals.get_coverage_totals: Get the coverage totals of a repository for its latest commit, or for a commit sha, branch, flag or path: lines, hits, misses, partials and coverage percentage.list_pull_requests: List a repository's pull requests seen by Codecov with title, state, CI result and base and head coverage.get_coverage_trend: Get the coverage trend of a repository over time: minimum, maximum and average coverage per day, week or month interval.list_flags: List a repository's coverage flags with the coverage percentage of each.list_components: List a repository's Codecov components with the coverage percentage of each, for the latest commit or a given branch or sha.
BYOK key
You bring your own Codecov API access token (https://app.codecov.io/account). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.codecov.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
