What Codemagic (BYOK) is for

Codemagic (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Codemagic data through the Codemagic API with a key you supply (Codemagic API token). Read-only: 12 tools (get_current_user, list_teams, list_my_apps, list_team_apps, list_app_workflows, list_team_builds, get_build, list_build_steps, get_team_build_summary, get_builds_by_status, get_build_duration_percentiles, get_builds_over_time). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to codemagic.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Codemagic. Codemagic and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Codemagic user is my API token for?"
  • "Which Codemagic teams am I in?"
  • "Which of my apps are set up in Codemagic?"
  • "What apps does my Codemagic team build?"
  • "Which workflows does my Codemagic app have?"
  • "Did the latest builds on main pass in Codemagic?"

What it does

  • get_current_user: Show the id and permissions of the Codemagic user the token belongs to.
  • list_teams: List the Codemagic teams the token's user belongs to, with team ids needed by the other team tools.
  • list_my_apps: List apps the token's user can see across teams, with the last build id and archived flag; filter by name words.
  • list_team_apps: List a team's apps with repository url, project type, settings source and last build id.
  • list_app_workflows: List the distinct workflows (ids and names) that exist for one app.
  • list_team_builds: List a team's recent builds, newest first, with status, branch, tag, commit message and timing; filter by app, workflow, branch or status.
  • get_build: Get one build: status, workflow, branch, commit message, timing, instance type and tool versions.
  • list_build_steps: List the steps (actions) a build ran, with type, status and timing, to see where it failed.
  • get_team_build_summary: Summarise a team's build usage in a period: number of builds, total build duration and apps built.
  • get_builds_by_status: Count a team's builds by outcome (finished, failed, canceled, timeout) in a period, with percentages.
  • get_build_duration_percentiles: Show how long builds take (seconds) at the median and other percentiles over a period.
  • get_builds_over_time: Get the number of builds per day or week for a team over a period, to chart build activity.

BYOK key

You bring your own Codemagic Codemagic API token (https://docs.codemagic.io/rest-api/codemagic-rest-api/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to codemagic.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Codemagic API (codemagic.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.codemagic.io/rest-api/codemagic-rest-api/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Codemagic. Codemagic and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Codemagic account.
