What Connecteam (BYOK) is for
Connecteam (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Connecteam data through the Connecteam API with a key you supply (Connecteam API key). Read-only: 9 tools (get_account, list_schedulers, list_shifts, list_user_unavailability, list_jobs, list_time_clocks, list_task_boards, list_tasks, list_conversations). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.connecteam.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Connecteam. Connecteam and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Connecteam company is my API key for?"
- "What schedules do I have in Connecteam?"
- "What shifts are on Connecteam scheduler 123 this week?"
- "When is Connecteam user 4567 unavailable next week?"
- "What jobs are set up in Connecteam?"
- "Which time clocks does my Connecteam account have?"
What it does
get_account: Show the Connecteam company name and company id the API key belongs to. Handy to check that the key works.list_schedulers: List the schedulers (shift schedules) in the account with id, name, archived flag and timezone. The scheduler id is needed to list shifts.list_shifts: List shifts of one scheduler between two Unix times (seconds): assigned user ids, start and end, title, job, open and published flags, breaks and notes. Up to 500 per page.list_user_unavailability: List the periods when one employee marked themselves unavailable between two Unix times (seconds), plus the shifts they hold in that window.list_jobs: List jobs (work sites or projects staff clock into) with title, code, color, description, location and assignment. Up to 500 per page.list_time_clocks: List the time clocks in the account with id, name and archived flag. The time clock id identifies where staff clock in.list_task_boards: List the task boards with id, name and archived flag. The board id is needed to list tasks.list_tasks: List tasks on one task board: title, status, assigned user ids, start and due time, labels, sub tasks and description. Up to 100 per page.list_conversations: List chat conversations (groups and direct chats) with id, title, type and source. Message text is not included. Up to 100 per page.
BYOK key
You bring your own Connecteam Connecteam API key (https://developer.connecteam.com/docs/authentication-1). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.connecteam.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Connecteam. Connecteam and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
