What Content Studio Analytics (BYOK) is for

Content Studio Analytics (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Content Studio Analytics data through the Content Studio Analytics API with a key you supply (ContentStudio API key). Read-only: 8 tools (get_facebook_summary, get_instagram_summary, get_youtube_summary, get_facebook_audience_growth, get_facebook_top_posts, get_instagram_top_posts, get_youtube_views_trend, get_youtube_top_posts). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.contentstudio.io. What it does

  • get_facebook_summary: Get a Facebook page summary for a period: fans, follows, impressions, engagements, posts and reactions, with previous period, difference and percentage change.
  • get_instagram_summary: Get an Instagram account summary for a period: followers, profile views and reach, posts, reactions, saves and engagement rate, with previous period, difference and percentage change.
  • get_youtube_summary: Get a YouTube channel summary for a period: subscribers, videos, views, watch time, likes, comments, shares and engagement, with previous period, difference and percentage change.
  • get_facebook_audience_growth: Get the follower growth of a Facebook page over a period. The provider documents no response fields, so the full answer is returned.
  • get_facebook_top_posts: Get a Facebook page's top posts in a period ranked by a metric. The provider documents no response fields, so the full answer is returned.
  • get_instagram_top_posts: Get an Instagram account's top posts in a period ranked by a metric. The provider documents no response fields, so the full answer is returned.
  • get_youtube_views_trend: Get views of a YouTube channel over a period as a trend. The provider documents no response fields, so the full answer is returned.
  • get_youtube_top_posts: Get a YouTube channel's top videos in a period. The provider documents no response fields, so the full answer is returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own Content Studio Analytics ContentStudio API key (https://docs.contentstudio.io/article/1163-contentstudio-api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.contentstudio.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
