What Content Studio Workspace (BYOK) is for

Content Studio Workspace (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Content Studio Workspace data through the Content Studio Workspace API with a key you supply (ContentStudio API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_workspaces, list_social_accounts, list_content_categories, list_campaigns, list_labels, list_posts, list_media, get_ai_brand_status). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.contentstudio.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Content Studio Workspace. Content Studio Workspace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which ContentStudio workspaces do I have?"
  • "Which social accounts are connected to my ContentStudio workspace?"
  • "Which content categories do I use in ContentStudio?"
  • "Which campaigns exist in my ContentStudio workspace?"
  • "Which labels can I put on ContentStudio posts?"
  • "Which ContentStudio posts are scheduled?"

What it does

  • list_workspaces: List the ContentStudio workspaces the key can access. The provider documents no response fields, so the full answer is returned.
  • list_social_accounts: List the social accounts connected to a workspace, optionally for some platforms. The provider documents no response fields, so the full answer is returned.
  • list_content_categories: List a workspace's content categories with colour, state, linked accounts and counts of slots and posts.
  • list_campaigns: List a workspace's campaigns (folders) sorted by name.
  • list_labels: List a workspace's labels sorted by name.
  • list_posts: List a workspace's posts with text, status, schedule and publish time and timezone, optionally filtered by status such as scheduled.
  • list_media: List files in a workspace's media library with name, URL, type, size and dimensions.
  • get_ai_brand_status: Show whether brand knowledge (AI brand voice) is configured and enabled for a workspace; the brand content itself is never returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own Content Studio Workspace ContentStudio API key (https://docs.contentstudio.io/article/1163-contentstudio-api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.contentstudio.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Content Studio Workspace API (api.contentstudio.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.contentstudio.io/article/1163-contentstudio-api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Content Studio Workspace. Content Studio Workspace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Content Studio Workspace account.
