What Courier (BYOK) is for

Courier (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Courier data through the Courier API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_messages, get_message, list_lists, list_brands, list_notification_templates, list_tenants, list_audit_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.courier.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Courier. Courier and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Courier notifications were undeliverable recently?"
  • "What happened to this Courier message?"
  • "What lists do I have in Courier?"
  • "Which brands are set up in Courier?"
  • "Which notification templates exist in Courier and which are published?"
  • "Which tenants are defined in Courier?"

What it does

  • list_messages: List notification messages sent through Courier with status (for example DELIVERED, OPENED, UNDELIVERABLE), recipient, notification and timestamps in epoch milliseconds. Cursor pagination.
  • get_message: Get one message by ID: status, recipient, notification, error and reason, timestamps in epoch milliseconds and per-provider delivery detail.
  • list_lists: List subscriber lists with ID, name and timestamps, optionally filtered by ID pattern (* matches one part, ** a trailing wildcard).
  • list_brands: List brands (email and in-app styling presets) with ID, name, version and publish time.
  • list_notification_templates: List notification templates with ID, name or title, tags, state (DRAFT or PUBLISHED) and timestamps.
  • list_tenants: List tenants (customer or workspace scopes) with ID, name, parent and default brand. Up to 100 per page.
  • list_audit_events: List audit events (who changed what in the workspace) with actor, target, source, type and time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Courier API key (https://app.courier.com/settings/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.courier.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Courier API (api.courier.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.courier.com/docs/api-reference. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Courier. Courier and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Courier account.
