What Custify (BYOK) is for

Custify (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Custify data through the Custify API with a key you supply (Custify API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_companies, list_health_scores, list_segments, list_lifecycles, list_playbooks, list_objectives, list_tasks, list_tickets, list_surveys, list_survey_responses, list_calculated_metrics, list_kb_articles). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.custify.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Custify. Custify and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which customer companies are in Custify?"
  • "How is customer health scored in Custify?"
  • "Which customer segments exist in Custify?"
  • "What lifecycles are set up in Custify?"
  • "Which playbooks are active in Custify?"
  • "Which customer objectives are at risk in Custify?"

What it does

  • list_companies: List the customer companies tracked in Custify (all stored attributes, so answers are trimmed to the first 20). Use items_per_page up to 200 to page.
  • list_health_scores: List the health score definitions (name, description, KPI type and impact on the global score).
  • list_segments: List customer segments with goal and type.
  • list_lifecycles: List customer lifecycles (onboarding, renewal and similar journeys) with status and timing rules.
  • list_playbooks: List playbooks with type, status and how many companies are in them.
  • list_objectives: List customer objectives with importance, risk, health, completion percentage and due date, optionally for one company.
  • list_tasks: List CS tasks with status, priority, due date, assignee name and company. Up to 50 per page.
  • list_tickets: List support tickets synced into Custify with title, status, priority, company names and open and modified times. Descriptions and people are not returned.
  • list_surveys: List NPS and CSAT surveys (name, type, creation date).
  • list_survey_responses: List the responses of one survey: score, comment, company and date. Respondent names and emails are not returned.
  • list_calculated_metrics: List calculated metrics (name, type, frequency) defined in Custify.
  • list_kb_articles: List knowledge base articles (title, status, visibility, category) without their content.

BYOK key

You bring your own Custify Custify API key (https://app.custify.com/settings/developer/api-key). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.custify.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Custify API (api.custify.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.custify.com/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Custify. Custify and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Custify account.
