What Datadog Case Management (BYOK) is for
Datadog Case Management (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Datadog Case Management data through the Datadog Case Management API with a key you supply (Datadog API key (US1 site, datadoghq.com)). Read-only: 11 tools (search_cases, get_case, count_cases, list_projects, get_project, list_case_types, list_custom_attributes, list_case_views, list_automation_rules, list_notification_rules, list_maintenance_windows). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.datadoghq.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Datadog Case Management. Datadog Case Management and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which P1 cases are open in Datadog Case Management?"
- "Show the details of Datadog case SEC-12"
- "How many Datadog cases are there per status?"
- "Which Datadog Case Management projects exist?"
- "What are the settings of Datadog Case Management project SEC?"
- "What case types are defined in Datadog?"
What it does
search_cases: Search Datadog cases with a query string. Returns key, title, status, priority, type, dates and the project and assignee ids. Pages of up to 100.get_case: Get one case by id or key: title, description, status, priority, type, dates and the project and assignee ids.count_cases: Count cases, optionally narrowed by a query and grouped by fields such as status or priority.list_projects: List Case Management projects with key, name, restricted flag and enabled case types.get_project: Get one Case Management project: key, name, restricted flag, settings (integrations, auto-close, notifications) and column configuration.list_case_types: List case types with name, description and emoji.list_custom_attributes: List the custom attributes defined for cases: key, display name, description, case type and whether several values are allowed.list_case_views: List the saved case views (saved search queries) of a project with name, query and dates.list_automation_rules: List a project's case automation rules: name, enabled state, trigger and action definitions and dates.list_notification_rules: List a project's case notification rules: query, enabled flag, triggers and recipient definitions.list_maintenance_windows: List event-management maintenance windows (periods when notifications and automation are suppressed for matching work items): name, query, start and end.
BYOK key
You bring your own Datadog Case Management Datadog API key (US1 site, datadoghq.com) (https://app.datadoghq.com/organization-settings/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.datadoghq.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
