What Datadog Status Pages (BYOK) is for
Datadog Status Pages (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Datadog Status Pages data through the Datadog Status Pages API with a key you supply (Datadog API key (US1 site, datadoghq.com)). Read-only: 8 tools (list_status_pages, get_status_page, list_components, list_degradations, get_degradation, list_maintenances, list_degradation_templates, list_maintenance_templates). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.datadoghq.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Datadog Status Pages. Datadog Status Pages and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Datadog status pages do we have and are their components operational?"
- "Show the Datadog status page with id 1111"
- "What components does Datadog status page 1111 show and what is their status?"
- "Which degradations are currently investigating on our Datadog status pages?"
- "Show the details and updates of degradation d1 on Datadog status page 1111"
- "What maintenance windows are scheduled on our Datadog status pages?"

BYOK key
You bring your own Datadog Status Pages Datadog API key (US1 site, datadoghq.com) (https://app.datadoghq.com/organization-settings/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.datadoghq.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
