What DigitalOcean (BYOK) is for
DigitalOcean (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own DigitalOcean data through the DigitalOcean API with a key you supply (personal access token). Read-only: 10 tools (list_droplets, list_domains, get_domain, list_domain_records, get_account, get_balance, list_billing_history, list_invoices, list_projects, list_project_resources). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.digitalocean.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by DigitalOcean. DigitalOcean and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Droplets are running in my DigitalOcean account?"
- "Which domains do I manage in DigitalOcean?"
- "Show the DigitalOcean zone file of example.com"
- "What DNS records does example.com have in DigitalOcean?"
- "What are my DigitalOcean account limits?"
- "How much have I spent on DigitalOcean this month?"
What it does
list_droplets: List the account's Droplets (virtual machines) with status, size, region, memory, disk, tags and network addresses. Up to 200 per page.list_domains: List the domains managed in DigitalOcean DNS with their TTL.get_domain: Get one DigitalOcean DNS domain with its TTL and zone file text.list_domain_records: List the DNS records of a DigitalOcean domain (type, name, data, TTL, priority), optionally by type or fully qualified name.get_account: Show the DigitalOcean account behind the token: email, name, status, whether the email is verified, Droplet and reserved IP limits, and team.get_balance: Show the DigitalOcean account balance, month-to-date usage and month-to-date balance as of the generation time.list_billing_history: List DigitalOcean billing history entries (invoices and payments) with amount, date and description.list_invoices: List DigitalOcean invoices with amount, billing period and update time, plus the current invoice preview.list_projects: List the account's DigitalOcean projects with purpose, environment, default flag and dates.list_project_resources: List the resources (Droplets, domains, databases and others, as URNs) assigned to a DigitalOcean project.
BYOK key
You bring your own DigitalOcean personal access token (https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/api/tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.digitalocean.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by DigitalOcean. DigitalOcean and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your DigitalOcean account.
