What Donorbox (BYOK) is for
Donorbox (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Donorbox data through the Donorbox API with a key you supply (Donorbox organization login e-mail). Read-only: 7 tools (list_campaigns, list_donations, list_donors, list_plans, list_events, list_tickets, list_ticket_purchases). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to donorbox.org. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Donorbox. Donorbox and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "How much has each Donorbox campaign raised?"
- "What donations did Donorbox receive last month?"
- "Who are my Donorbox donors with the most gifts?"
- "Which Donorbox recurring donors are active?"
- "Which Donorbox events sold tickets?"
- "Who bought Donorbox event tickets?"
What it does
list_campaigns: List donation campaigns with name, currency, goal, amount raised and number of donations; filter by name.list_donations: List donations with donor, campaign, amount, status, recurring flag, type and date; filter by e-mail, dates, campaign or amount.list_donors: List donors with name, e-mail, location, number of donations, last donation date and totals per currency.list_plans: List recurring donation plans with donor, campaign, type (monthly, yearly), amount, status and next donation date.list_events: List ticketed events with name, currency, amount raised, donations and tickets sold.list_tickets: List tickets sold for events with price, ticket type, event and buyer; payment_status=refunded shows refunded tickets only.list_ticket_purchases: List event ticket purchases with event, amount, refunded amount, status, date and ticket count.
BYOK key
You bring your own Donorbox Donorbox organization login e-mail (https://donorbox.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061902812-How-to-set-up-your-Donorbox-API-for-the-API-Zapier-Integration). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to donorbox.org over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
The Donorbox API is a paid add-on of the Donorbox account (the vendor's documentation names a monthly fee).
