What DoubleTick (BYOK) is for

DoubleTick (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own DoubleTick data through the DoubleTick API with a key you supply (DoubleTick public API key). Read-only: 6 tools (list_channels, get_wallet_balance, list_templates, list_broadcast_groups, list_roles, list_webhooks). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to public.doubletick.io. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which WhatsApp numbers are connected to my DoubleTick account?"
  • "How much balance is left in my DoubleTick wallet?"
  • "Which WhatsApp templates are approved on DoubleTick?"
  • "How many people are in each of my DoubleTick broadcast groups?"
  • "Which roles and permissions exist on my DoubleTick account?"
  • "Which DoubleTick events are my webhooks subscribed to?"

What it does

  • list_channels: List the connected WhatsApp channels with WhatsApp number, display name, status and public business profile (about, description, address, email, websites, category).
  • get_wallet_balance: Show the DoubleTick wallet balance and currency.
  • list_templates: List WhatsApp message templates with name, language, category, approval status, components, buttons and WhatsApp number.
  • list_broadcast_groups: List the broadcast groups with name, member count, type, creation time and last message time, paged by cursor. Members are not returned.
  • list_roles: List the team roles with title, description, whether custom, type and the permissions each grants.
  • list_webhooks: List the registered webhooks with name, subscribed event types, WhatsApp numbers and integration count. Webhook URLs are not returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own DoubleTick DoubleTick public API key (https://docs.doubletick.io/docs/quickstart-guide). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to public.doubletick.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
