What Dreamship (BYOK) is for

Dreamship (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Dreamship data through the Dreamship API with a key you supply (Dreamship API key (Settings page)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_categories, list_category_items, list_items, get_item, list_item_ship_zones, list_products, get_product, list_shops, list_orders, get_order). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.dreamship.com. Dreamship and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which product categories does Dreamship offer?"
  • "Which Dreamship items are in category 3?"
  • "What are the cheapest items I can print on at Dreamship?"
  • "Show Dreamship item 11 with costs and sizes"
  • "Where can Dreamship item 11 be shipped?"
  • "Which of my Dreamship products failed processing?"

What it does

  • list_categories: List the product categories of the Dreamship catalog with item counts and parent category.
  • list_category_items: List the catalog items of one category with base costs, production days, colours and sizes.
  • list_items: Search the catalog items (blank products) with starting costs, production time, status, colours and sizes; sort by cost, newest or popularity.
  • get_item: Get one catalog item: description, base cost, production days, status, colours and sizes.
  • list_item_ship_zones: List the ship zones of a catalog item with the zone group, countries and country fee percentage.
  • list_products: List your Dreamship products (designs on catalog items) with type, reference id, processing status and publish date.
  • get_product: Get one of your products with type, reference id, processing status and any error reason.
  • list_shops: List the sales channels (Shopify, Etsy and so on) connected to your Dreamship account with status.
  • list_orders: List your Dreamship orders with status, production and payment status, shipping method, source and cost totals. Customer addresses are not returned.
  • get_order: Get one Dreamship order: status, production and payment status, shipping method and costs. Customer addresses are not returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own Dreamship Dreamship API key (Settings page) (https://dreamship.com/app/settings). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.dreamship.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
