What Dub (BYOK) is for

Dub (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Dub data through the Dub API with a key you supply (Dub API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_links, count_links, get_link, get_analytics, list_events, list_tags, list_folders). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.dub.co. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What are my most recent Dub short links?"
  • "How many short links do I have on Dub?"
  • "Show the details of the Dub link dub.sh/abc"
  • "How many clicks did my Dub links get in the last 30 days?"
  • "Show the latest clicks on my Dub links"
  • "Which tags do I use on Dub?"

What it does

  • list_links: List the short links of the workspace with destination, short URL, clicks, leads, sales, tags and dates. Up to 100 per page; pass a link ID as starting_after for the next page.
  • count_links: Count the links of the workspace, optionally filtered, or grouped by domain, tag, user or folder.
  • get_link: Get one short link by domain and key, by link ID or by external ID: destination, clicks, leads, sales, tags and settings. Give one identifier (domain with key, or link_id, or external_id).
  • get_analytics: Get click, lead or sale analytics for the workspace or one link, as a total, a time series or a breakdown (countries, devices, browsers, referrers, top links). Needs a Pro plan or higher.
  • list_events: List individual click, lead or sale events (time, country, city, device, browser, referrer, link). Needs a Business plan or higher.
  • list_tags: List the tags of the workspace with ID, name and colour.
  • list_folders: List the link folders of the workspace with name, description, type and access level.

BYOK key

You bring your own Dub Dub API key (https://app.dub.co/settings/tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.dub.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
