What elmah.io (BYOK) is for
elmah.io (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own elmah.io data through the elmah.io API with a key you supply (elmah.io API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_logs, get_log, diagnose_log, search_messages, get_message, list_deployments, get_deployment). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.elmah.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by elmah.io. elmah.io and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which elmah.io logs do I have?"
- "Show the elmah.io log a1b2c3d4-0000-4000-8000-000000000001"
- "Why is the elmah.io log a1b2c3d4-0000-4000-8000-000000000001 not receiving errors?"
- "What errors were logged in elmah.io log a1b2c3d4-0000-4000-8000-000000000001 yesterday?"
- "Show the details of elmah.io message 99CDEA3D6A631F09 in log a1b2c3d4-0000-4000-8000-000000000001"
- "Which deployments did elmah.io record recently?"
What it does
list_logs: List the logs of your elmah.io organization (one per application or environment) with name, environment and disabled flag.get_log: Get one elmah.io log by id: name, environment, color and whether it is disabled.diagnose_log: Run elmah.io's diagnostic check on a log and return the findings about logging problems, such as missing messages.search_messages: Search the errors and messages in an elmah.io log by free text or Lucene query and date range, newest first, with severity, title, source and URL.get_message: Get one logged error or message from an elmah.io log: title, severity, time, stack trace or detail, request URL, status code and breadcrumbs. Cookies, form fields and server variables are not returned.list_deployments: List the deployments recorded in elmah.io with version, description, time and the log they belong to.get_deployment: Get one elmah.io deployment by id: version, description, time and log.
BYOK key
You bring your own elmah.io elmah.io API key (https://docs.elmah.io/where-is-my-api-key/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.elmah.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
