What Elvanto (BYOK) is for
Elvanto (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Elvanto data through the Elvanto API with a key you supply (Elvanto API key (Settings, Account Settings)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_groups, list_services, list_calendars, list_calendar_events, list_songs, list_song_categories, list_people_flows, list_giving_categories, list_people_categories). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.elvanto.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Elvanto. Elvanto and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What groups does our church run and when do they meet?"
- "What services are coming up at our church?"
- "What calendars does our church have?"
- "What events are on our church calendar in December?"
- "Which songs in our library are by Hillsong?"
- "What song categories do we use?"
What it does
list_groups: List the church's groups (small groups, teams) with status, meeting day, time, frequency and place. Members are not requested.list_services: List church services (worship services) with date, name, service type and location. Future services only unless all is 'yes'. Volunteers and plans are not requested.list_calendars: List the calendars that church events can be assigned to, with colour and whether they are visible to members.list_calendar_events: List calendar events between two dates with name, place, start, end and whether all-day. Use 'services' as the calendar to get services.list_songs: List the worship song library with title, artist, album and categories, optionally searching by title or artist.list_song_categories: List the categories used to organise songs.list_people_flows: List the people flows (follow-up pipelines) with their steps and status. No individual is included.list_giving_categories: List the chart-of-accounts categories used for giving, with active (1) or archived (0) status. No transactions are returned.list_people_categories: List the categories people can be placed in, with colour (for example New People, Church Members).
BYOK key
You bring your own Elvanto Elvanto API key (Settings, Account Settings) (https://www.elvanto.com/api/getting-started/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.elvanto.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
Church operations and aggregate counts only: person, family, contact and giving-transaction records are not exposed by these tools.
