What Eventbrite Event Config (BYOK) is for

Eventbrite Event Config (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Eventbrite Event Config data through the Eventbrite Event Config API with a key you supply (Eventbrite private token). Read-only: 9 tools (list_categories, list_subcategories, list_formats, get_event_capacity_tier, list_inventory_tiers, list_custom_questions, list_default_questions, get_sales_report, list_organization_roles). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to www.eventbriteapi.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Eventbrite Event Config. Eventbrite Event Config and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What event categories does Eventbrite have?"
  • "What event subcategories does Eventbrite have?"
  • "What event formats can I choose on Eventbrite?"
  • "How full is Eventbrite event 1234567890?"
  • "What inventory tiers does Eventbrite event 1234567890 have?"
  • "What custom questions does Eventbrite event 1234567890 ask at checkout?"

What it does

  • list_categories: List Eventbrite's event categories (for example Music or Business) with id, name and short name, subcategories nested.
  • list_subcategories: List Eventbrite's event subcategories with id, name and the parent category.
  • list_formats: List Eventbrite's event formats (for example Seminar or Talk, Festival) with id, name and short name.
  • get_event_capacity_tier: Get an event's capacity: total capacity, sold and pending counts, whether the capacity is custom, and general admission holds.
  • list_inventory_tiers: List the inventory tiers of an event (shared ticket capacity pools): name, quantity total, sold and pending counts, ticket classes and holds.
  • list_custom_questions: List the custom checkout questions of an event: label, type (checkbox, dropdown, text, paragraph, radio, waiver), required flag, who is asked and choices. Definitions only, no answers.
  • list_default_questions: List the built-in (default) checkout questions of an event such as name, email or job title, with whether each is enabled and required.
  • get_sales_report: Get an aggregated sales report for an event: gross, net, fees, royalty and ticket quantity per period, optionally grouped (by ticket, currency, country, source and more). Totals only, no buyer records.
  • list_organization_roles: List the roles of an Eventbrite organization: name, description, permissions and whether each can be edited or granted.

BYOK key

You bring your own Eventbrite Event Config Eventbrite private token (https://www.eventbrite.com/platform/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to www.eventbriteapi.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Eventbrite Event Config API (www.eventbriteapi.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.eventbrite.com/platform/new/api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not
