What Everhour (BYOK) is for

Everhour (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Everhour data through the Everhour API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 11 tools (get_current_user, list_users, list_projects, list_project_tasks, search_tasks, list_time_records, list_project_time_records, list_team_timers, list_clients, list_invoices, list_assignments). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.everhour.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Everhour. Everhour and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Everhour user is my API key for?"
  • "Who is on my Everhour team?"
  • "What projects do I have in Everhour?"
  • "What open tasks are in Everhour project ev:1234567890?"
  • "Find Everhour tasks about onboarding"
  • "How much time did my team log in Everhour last week?"

What it does

  • get_current_user: Show the Everhour user who owns the API key: id, name, role, status, type and time zone offset.
  • list_users: List the team members with id, name, role, status, type and groups; filter by name or email.
  • list_projects: List projects you can access with id, name, type, client id, assigned user ids and billing type; search by name or filter by integration.
  • list_project_tasks: List the tasks of a project with status, due date, labels, tracked time and estimate. Set exclude_closed to hide completed tasks.
  • search_tasks: Search tasks across all projects by name, optionally inside one project or including closed tasks.
  • list_time_records: List time records of the whole team for a date range (today only when no dates are given): date, seconds tracked, user id, task and comment. Time is in seconds.
  • list_project_time_records: List time records logged on one project by all users, optionally for a date range. Time is in seconds.
  • list_team_timers: List the timers running now across the team: user, task, status, seconds tracked and start time.
  • list_clients: List clients with id, name and project ids; search by name.
  • list_invoices: List invoices with client, status, issue and due dates, amounts and total time.
  • list_assignments: List resource planner assignments and time off between dates: user, project, start and end date, hours per day.

BYOK key

You bring your own Everhour API key (https://app.everhour.com/#/account/profile). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.everhour.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Everhour API (api.everhour.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.everhour.com/introduction.md. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Everhour. Everhour and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Everhour account.
