What Finmo (BYOK) is for

Finmo (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Finmo data through the Finmo API with a key you supply (Finmo API token (Brokerage or Team API, from the integrations page)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_teams, list_brokers, list_applications, list_document_templates, list_generated_compliance_documents, list_required_compliance_documents). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.finmo.ca. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Finmo. Finmo and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which teams are set up in our Finmo brokerage?"
  • "Which brokers work in our brokerage and when were they last active?"
  • "How many of our mortgage deals are funded versus still in progress?"
  • "Which document request templates does our team use?"
  • "Which compliance documents does Finmo generate for our team?"
  • "Which documents must be on file for compliance at our team?"

What it does

  • list_teams: List the teams in your brokerage with name, legal name, website, country, Pro subscription state and enabled calculators.
  • list_brokers: List the brokers in your brokerage with name, title, location, roles, activity dates and whether the account is confirmed (contact details are not returned).
  • list_applications: List mortgage application overviews (without borrower names) with goal, price, down payment, status, lender submission status, closing date and province.
  • list_document_templates: List the document request templates (for example pay stubs or bank statements) with category, type and whether bank statements can be pulled.
  • list_generated_compliance_documents: List a team's generated compliance documents (documents Finmo produces for the compliance file).
  • list_required_compliance_documents: List a team's required compliance documents and the document templates each one uses.

BYOK key

You bring your own Finmo Finmo API token (Brokerage or Team API, from the integrations page) (https://help.finmo.ca/en/articles/6381437-finmo-rest-api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.finmo.ca over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Finmo API (app.finmo.ca) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://finmo.readme.io/llms.txt. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Finmo. Finmo and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Finmo account.
