What FiscalAPI (BYOK) is for

FiscalAPI (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own FiscalAPI data through the FiscalAPI API with a key you supply (FiscalAPI API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_catalogs, search_catalog, list_sat_validation_types, list_stamp_movements, get_stamp_movement, list_events, list_products, get_auto_invoice_consumption). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to live.fiscalapi.com. What it does

  • list_catalogs: List the names of the SAT and internal catalogs (payment forms, tax regimes, CFDI uses, units, product codes and more) that search_catalog accepts.
  • search_catalog: Search one SAT catalog by a term and return the matching ids and descriptions, for example the payment form or tax regime code for a name.
  • list_sat_validation_types: List the SAT validation checks FiscalAPI offers for a CFDI (XML structure, certificate validity, seals, SAT status, blacklist 69-B) with what each one verifies.
  • list_stamp_movements: List movements of invoice stamps (timbres) between accounts with amount, type, status, reference and date, showing your stamp balance history.
  • get_stamp_movement: Get one stamp movement by id.
  • list_events: List account events of the last 30 days (for example invoice.canceled) with type, related object and status change, newest first.
  • list_products: List the products and services saved on the account with price, SAT unit, SAT product code and tax rates.
  • get_auto_invoice_consumption: Report Auto CFDI usage for a date range: tickets by status per issuer and ticket credits consumed, with totals.

BYOK key

You bring your own FiscalAPI FiscalAPI API key (https://docs.fiscalapi.com/credentials-info). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to live.fiscalapi.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
