What Flexprice (BYOK) is for

Flexprice (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Flexprice data through the Flexprice API with a key you supply (Flexprice API key (US region)). Read-only: 9 tools (search_customers, search_subscriptions, search_invoices, list_payments, search_plans, search_prices, search_features, search_wallets, list_tax_rates). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to us.api.flexprice.io. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which billing customers do we have in Flexprice?"
  • "Which customers have active subscriptions and when do they renew?"
  • "Which invoices are unpaid or overdue in Flexprice?"
  • "Which payments failed recently?"
  • "Which plans do we offer in Flexprice?"
  • "What does the Pro plan charge in Flexprice?"

What it does

  • search_customers: Search customers with name, email, external id, billing currency, country and tax treatment. Read-only query despite POST.
  • search_subscriptions: Search subscriptions with plan, customer, status, billing period, current period dates, trial and cancellation dates. Read-only query despite POST.
  • search_invoices: Search invoices with number, status, payment status, amounts, tax, discount, dates and PDF link. Read-only query despite POST.
  • list_payments: List payments with amount, currency, status, method, gateway, linked invoice and success or failure times.
  • search_plans: Search pricing plans with name, lookup key, description and creation time. Read-only query despite POST.
  • search_prices: Search prices with amount, currency, billing model, period, cadence and the plan or addon they belong to. Read-only query despite POST.
  • search_features: Search product features (metered, boolean, static, config) with name, lookup key, meter and unit names. Read-only query despite POST.
  • search_wallets: Search prepaid and postpaid credit wallets with balance, credit balance, currency, customer and status. Read-only query despite POST.
  • list_tax_rates: List tax rates with name, code, type and percentage or fixed value.

BYOK key

You bring your own Flexprice Flexprice API key (US region) (https://docs.flexprice.io/docs/cli/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to us.api.flexprice.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
