What Flutterwave Config (BYOK) is for

Flutterwave Config (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Flutterwave Config data through the Flutterwave Config API with a key you supply (secret key (FLWSECK-...) of API version 3). Read-only: 12 tools (list_banks, list_bank_branches, get_transfer_fee, get_transaction_fee, list_payment_plans, get_payment_plan, list_bill_categories, list_billers, list_settlements, get_settlement, list_chargebacks, get_wallet_balance). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.flutterwave.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Flutterwave Config. Flutterwave Config and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which banks does Flutterwave support in Ghana?"
  • "What branches does bank 280 have?"
  • "What would Flutterwave charge to transfer 10000 NGN to a bank account?"
  • "What is the Flutterwave fee on a 10000 NGN card payment?"
  • "Which Flutterwave payment plans do I have?"
  • "What does payment plan 3807 charge?"

What it does

  • list_banks: List banks and mobile money providers Flutterwave supports in a country, with each bank's id and code.
  • list_bank_branches: List the branches of one bank (by Flutterwave bank id) with branch code, branch name, SWIFT code and BIC.
  • get_transfer_fee: Quote the fee Flutterwave charges for a transfer of an amount in a currency, for account or mobile money transfers. Nothing is sent.
  • get_transaction_fee: Quote the fee for charging a customer an amount in a currency, optionally for one payment type. Nothing is charged.
  • list_payment_plans: List recurring payment plans in your account with amount, interval, duration, status, currency and plan token. Page size is set by Flutterwave.
  • get_payment_plan: Get one payment plan by numeric id with amount, interval, duration, status, currency and plan token.
  • list_bill_categories: List the bill payment categories (airtime, data, cable, internet and others) Flutterwave offers in a country, with code and description.
  • list_billers: List the government agencies and billers you can pay into through Flutterwave bill payments, with their codes.
  • list_settlements: List your settlements with date, status, currency, gross, fee, refund, chargeback and net amounts, transaction count and disbursement reference. Merchant email and settlement account are not returned.
  • get_settlement: Get one settlement by id with date, status, currency, gross, fee, refund, chargeback and net amounts and disbursement reference. Per-transaction customer details are not returned.
  • list_chargebacks: List chargebacks with amount, Flutterwave reference, status, stage, due date, settlement id and transaction reference. Comments and history are not returned.
  • get_wallet_balance: Show the available and ledger balance of your Flutterwave wallet in one currency.

BYOK key

You bring your own Flutterwave Config secret key (FLWSECK-...) of API version 3 (https://app.flutterwave.com/dashboard/settings/apis). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.flutterwave.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Flutterwave Config API (api.flutterwave.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developer.flutterwave.com/reference/get-all-banks. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Flutterwave Config. Flutterwave Config and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Flutterwave Config account.
