What Freshservice Projects (BYOK) is for
Freshservice Projects (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Freshservice Projects data through the Freshservice Projects API with a key you supply (Freshservice API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_projects, list_project_templates, list_project_fields, list_project_task_statuses, list_project_task_priorities, list_project_task_types, list_project_sprints, list_project_versions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.freshservice.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Freshservice Projects. Freshservice Projects and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which projects are in progress in Freshservice?"
- "Which project templates does Freshservice have?"
- "Which fields do Freshservice projects have?"
- "Which task statuses does Freshservice project 1 use?"
- "Which task priorities does Freshservice project 1 use?"
- "Which task types does Freshservice project 1 use?"
What it does
list_projects: List projects you can access with name, key, status and priority ids, type, start and end dates, archived flag and visibility. Manager ids are not returned.list_project_templates: List custom project templates with name, description, type (0 software, 1 business) and visibility.list_project_fields: List the fields of the project form (default and custom) with label, type, mandatory flag and choices.list_project_task_statuses: List a project's task statuses with name, description and category (1 yet to start, 2 work in progress, 3 completed).list_project_task_priorities: List a project's task priority levels with name and description.list_project_task_types: List a project's task types (for example epic, story, bug) with name and description.list_project_sprints: List a project's sprints with title, goal, state (1 planned, 2 active, 3 completed) and planned dates.list_project_versions: List a project's versions with name, description, dates and status (1 unreleased, 2 released). Owner ids are not returned.
BYOK key
You bring your own Freshservice Projects Freshservice API key (https://api.freshservice.com/#authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.freshservice.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
