What Freshservice Releases (BYOK) is for
Freshservice Releases (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Freshservice Releases data through the Freshservice Releases API with a key you supply (Freshservice API key). Read-only: 5 tools (list_releases, get_release, list_release_form_fields, list_requester_groups, list_requester_fields). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.freshservice.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Freshservice Releases. Freshservice Releases and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Freshservice releases are planned?"
- "Show Freshservice release 12"
- "Which fields are on the Freshservice release form?"
- "Which requester groups exist in Freshservice?"
- "Which fields does a Freshservice requester profile have?"
What it does
list_releases: List releases with subject, priority and status codes, release type, planned and actual dates, category and linked change ids. Agent, group and asset links are not returned. Filter by workspace.get_release: Get one release by id with subject, status, priority, dates, category and linked change ids.list_release_form_fields: List the fields of the release form (default and custom) with label, type, required flags and choices.list_requester_groups: List requester (contact) groups with name, description and type (manual or rule_based). Members are not returned.list_requester_fields: List the requester (contact) fields, default and custom, with label, type, position and required flags. Only definitions, no requester data.
BYOK key
You bring your own Freshservice Releases Freshservice API key (https://api.freshservice.com/#authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.freshservice.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Freshservice Releases. Freshservice Releases and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Freshservice Releases account.
