What Getimg (BYOK) is for

Getimg (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Getimg data through the Getimg API with a key you supply (getimg.ai API key). Read-only: 5 tools (list_models, get_model, get_balance, get_daily_costs, get_video_generation_status). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.getimg.ai. Getimg and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which getimg.ai models are available and what resolutions do they support?"
  • "What aspect ratios does the getimg.ai model seedream-5-lite support?"
  • "How much getimg.ai API balance do I have left?"
  • "What did my getimg.ai API usage cost each day in September 2026?"
  • "Has my getimg.ai video request req-01HXYZVIDEO1234 finished?"

What it does

  • list_models: List the image and video models available to the key with supported aspect ratios, resolutions, durations and sound support.
  • get_model: Get one model's supported parameters and pricing currency.
  • get_balance: Show the current API balance in USD shared by the key's workspace.
  • get_daily_costs: Get API costs per UTC day between two timestamps, plus the total for the range.
  • get_video_generation_status: Check the status (pending, failed or completed) of an earlier video generation request by id; returns the error if it failed.

BYOK key

You bring your own Getimg getimg.ai API key (https://getimg.ai/app/developer/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.getimg.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
