What GitHub Activity (BYOK) is for
GitHub Activity (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own GitHub Activity data through the GitHub Activity API with a key you supply (personal access token). Read-only: 10 tools (list_public_events, list_repo_events, list_repo_network_events, list_org_events, list_user_public_events, list_user_received_events, list_user_starred, list_user_watched, list_repo_watchers, list_repo_forks). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.github.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by GitHub Activity. GitHub Activity and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What is happening on GitHub right now?"
- "What recent activity did octocat/Hello-World have?"
- "What activity happened in the fork network of octocat/Hello-World?"
- "What public activity did octo-org have recently?"
- "What has octocat done on GitHub lately?"
- "What public activity is octocat's GitHub feed showing?"

BYOK key
You bring your own GitHub Activity personal access token (https://github.com/settings/tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.github.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
