What Givebutter (BYOK) is for

Givebutter (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Givebutter data through the Givebutter API with a key you supply (Givebutter API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_campaigns, get_campaign, list_contacts, get_contact, list_transactions, get_transaction, list_recurring_plans, list_pledges, list_funds, list_payouts, list_campaign_members, list_tickets). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.givebutter.com. What it does

  • list_campaigns: List fundraising campaigns with title, type, status, goal, amount raised, donor count and URL.
  • get_campaign: Get one campaign by its numeric id: title, description, goal, amount raised, donors, end date and event details.
  • list_contacts: List supporters (people and companies) with name, e-mail, total and recurring giving and last gift; filter by type, name, e-mail, giving range or dates.
  • get_contact: Get one supporter by numeric id: name, e-mails, phones, addresses, giving totals and subscription flags.
  • list_transactions: List donations and other transactions with donor name, campaign, amount, fee, status, method and date; filter by date, contact or method.
  • get_transaction: Get one transaction by its id with donor, campaign, fund, amounts and payment method.
  • list_recurring_plans: List recurring giving plans with donor, frequency, amount, status, next bill date and cancel date.
  • list_pledges: List pledges with contact, campaign, status, amount pledged, amount fulfilled and remaining and installment dates.
  • list_funds: List funds with name, code, amount raised and supporter count.
  • list_payouts: List payouts to your bank with campaign, method, status, gross amount, fees and net payout and expected or paid date.
  • list_campaign_members: List the fundraisers (members) of one campaign with name, amount raised, goal and donors.
  • list_tickets: List event tickets sold with holder name, title, price and check-in time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Givebutter Givebutter API key (https://docs.givebutter.com/api-reference/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.givebutter.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
