What Golioth (BYOK) is for
Golioth (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Golioth data through the Golioth API with a key you supply (Golioth project API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_organizations, list_projects, list_devices, get_device, list_device_activity, list_logs, list_releases, list_artifacts, list_blueprints, list_tags, list_cohorts, list_ota_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.golioth.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Golioth. Golioth and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Golioth organizations do I belong to?"
- "Which Golioth projects do I have?"
- "Which Golioth devices have not reported recently?"
- "When was Golioth device dev-123 last online?"
- "Which Golioth devices went offline most recently?"
- "Show Golioth ERROR logs from device dev-123"
What it does
list_organizations: List the Golioth organizations the key can see with name, tier and payment status.list_projects: List the Golioth projects the key can see with name, organization and roles.list_devices: List the devices in a project with status, enabled flag, hardware ids, tags, blueprint and last report time.get_device: Get one device with status, last report, last seen online and offline times, tags and cohort.list_device_activity: List per-device activity: status, last report and last seen online and offline times.list_logs: List device log lines from a project, filtered by device, level, module, text and time range.list_releases: List firmware releases with sequence number, tags, rollout flag and artifact ids.list_artifacts: List uploaded firmware artifacts with package, version, size and blueprint.list_blueprints: List device blueprints with name, board and platform.list_tags: List the device tags defined in a project.list_cohorts: List cohorts (device groups for staged updates) with device count and active deployment.list_ota_events: List over-the-air update events with device, event type, status code, current and target version.
BYOK key
You bring your own Golioth Golioth project API key (https://console.golioth.io). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.golioth.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
