What Good Grants (BYOK) is for

Good Grants (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Good Grants data through the Good Grants API with a key you supply (Good Grants API key (US region account; a Read only scope is enough)). Read-only: 11 tools (get_account, list_seasons, list_rounds, list_forms, list_categories, list_chapters, list_funds, list_grant_statuses, list_applications, list_allocations, list_allocation_payments). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.us.cr4ce.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Good Grants account and plan is this key for?"
  • "Which funding seasons are active or archived?"
  • "Which rounds are open for applications right now?"
  • "Which application forms do we run?"
  • "Which grant categories get the most applications?"
  • "Which chapters exist for this season?"

What it does

  • get_account: Get the Good Grants account the key belongs to: name, plan tier, region, timezone and creation date (the owner is not returned).
  • list_seasons: List grant seasons (funding cycles) with name and lifecycle status.
  • list_rounds: List application, reviewer and feedback rounds with open and close dates.
  • list_forms: List entry forms with type, chapter option and season.
  • list_categories: List grant categories with status, divisions and number of applications.
  • list_chapters: List chapters (regional or program groupings) with status and season; managers are not returned.
  • list_funds: List funds (budgets) with total budget, amount allocated, amount still available and currency.
  • list_grant_statuses: List grant statuses with the number of applications in each.
  • list_applications: List applications with status, review, moderation, payment and eligibility state, category, season and dates (applicant details are not returned).
  • list_allocations: List grant allocations with total amount, paid-state amount, currency, fund and season (applicant and application details are not returned).
  • list_allocation_payments: List installment payments against allocations with amount, status, due and paid dates (comments and references are not returned).

BYOK key

You bring your own Good Grants Good Grants API key (US region account; a Read only scope is enough) (https://docs.goodgrants.com/docs/authentication/api-keys-management). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.us.cr4ce.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
