What GoSquared (BYOK) is for

GoSquared (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own GoSquared data through the GoSquared API with a key you supply (GoSquared API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_sites, now_overview, now_concurrents, now_pages, now_sources, now_countries, now_browsers, now_engagement, trends_aggregate, trends_pages, trends_sources, trends_countries). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.gosquared.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which GoSquared sites can I see?"
  • "How many people are on my website right now?"
  • "How many concurrent visitors does my GoSquared site have?"
  • "Which pages are visitors viewing right now?"
  • "Where are my live visitors coming from?"
  • "Which countries are my live visitors in?"

What it does

  • list_sites: List the sites (projects) the key's account owns or has shared access to, including their site tokens.
  • now_overview: Real-time summary for a site: people online, active pages and historical visitor minimum, maximum and average for the period.
  • now_concurrents: Summary of all visitors currently online on a site.
  • now_pages: Pages with visitors online right now, most visitors first; pass href to look at one page.
  • now_sources: Where currently online visitors came from, grouped into direct, organic, site, social and internal sources.
  • now_countries: Countries of the visitors currently online, most visitors first.
  • now_browsers: Browsers used by the visitors currently online, most visitors first.
  • now_engagement: Real-time engagement of online visitors: time-on-site and visit-depth breakdowns with averages.
  • trends_aggregate: Historical summary metrics for a site over a period, split by hour, day or month.
  • trends_pages: Historical page metrics for a site over a period, most viewed first.
  • trends_sources: Historical referral sources for a site over a period, optionally for one source type and grouped by engine or domain.
  • trends_countries: Historical visitor metrics by country for a site over a period.

BYOK key

You bring your own GoSquared GoSquared API key (https://gosquared.com/docs/api/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.gosquared.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
