What Groq (BYOK) is for
Groq (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Groq data through the Groq API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 6 tools (list_models, get_model, list_files, get_file, list_batches, get_batch). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.groq.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Groq. Groq and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which models can I use on Groq and how big are their context windows?"
- "Who owns the Groq model llama-3.3-70b-versatile?"
- "Which batch files have I uploaded to Groq?"
- "How large is Groq file file_01jh6x76wtemjr74t1fh0faj5t?"
- "Did my Groq batch jobs finish?"
- "What is the status of Groq batch batch_01jh6xa7reempvjyh6n3yst2zw?"
What it does
list_models: List Groq models available to the key with owner, whether they are active, and context window size in tokens.get_model: Get one Groq model by id: owner and creation time.list_files: List files uploaded to your Groq account for batch jobs, with name, size, purpose and creation time.get_file: Get metadata of one uploaded Groq file by id: name, size, purpose and creation time. File content is not returned.list_batches: List your Groq batch jobs with status, endpoint, input and output files, request counts and timestamps.get_batch: Get one Groq batch job by id with status, files, request counts and timestamps.
BYOK key
You bring your own Groq API key (https://console.groq.com/keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.groq.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
