What Gumlet (BYOK) is for

Gumlet (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Gumlet data through the Gumlet API with a key you supply (Gumlet API key). Read-only: 12 tools (get_user, get_organization, list_workspaces, list_folders, list_videos, get_video, list_playlists, list_playlist_videos, list_video_profiles, list_image_sources, get_top_streamed_videos, search_library). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.gumlet.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gumlet. Gumlet and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Gumlet user is this key for?"
  • "Which Gumlet plan is my organization on?"
  • "Which Gumlet video workspaces do I have?"
  • "What folders are in this Gumlet workspace?"
  • "Which videos are still processing in my Gumlet workspace?"
  • "Show the details of this Gumlet video"

What it does

  • get_user: Show the Gumlet user the key belongs to: name, roles, timezone and last login date.
  • get_organization: Show the Gumlet organization: plan names for image and video, billing cycle and unpaid flag.
  • list_workspaces: List video workspaces (id, name, type, dates); secrets and storage credentials are not returned.
  • list_folders: List folders of a video workspace with asset and sub-folder counts; pass parent_id to go one level down.
  • list_videos: List videos of a workspace with status, duration, size, playback URL and thumbnail, filtered by status, tag, title text or dates.
  • get_video: Get one video's details: status, title, description, duration, folder, playlists, access control and playback and thumbnail URLs.
  • list_playlists: List playlists, optionally for one workspace (collection).
  • list_playlist_videos: List the videos in one playlist with title, status and duration.
  • list_video_profiles: List reusable encoding profiles with their format and codec settings.
  • list_image_sources: List image sources (storage origins) with type, namespace and custom domains; storage credentials are not returned.
  • get_top_streamed_videos: List the most streamed videos in a date range with streaming units per video.
  • search_library: Search videos, folders, playlists and channels of the account by text.

BYOK key

You bring your own Gumlet Gumlet API key (https://dash.gumlet.com/developer/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.gumlet.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Gumlet API (api.gumlet.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.gumlet.com/reference/index.md. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gumlet. Gumlet and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Gumlet account.
