What Gumroad (BYOK) is for

Gumroad (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Gumroad data through the Gumroad API with a key you supply (Gumroad access token (view_sales and view_payouts scopes recommended)). Read-only: 9 tools (get_user, list_products, get_product, list_sales, get_sale, list_subscribers, list_payouts, get_payout, get_earnings). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.gumroad.com. What it does

  • get_user: Get the authenticated account: user id, name, bio and profile URL.
  • list_products: List your products with name, price, status, short URL, category, tags, membership recurrences, sales count and variants.
  • get_product: Get one product with name, price, status, short URL, category, tags, membership options, sales count and variants.
  • list_sales: List successful sales (newest first) with product, price, fees, tax, currency, refund, chargeback and subscription flags; filter by product, order and dates. Buyer details are not returned.
  • get_sale: Get one sale by id with product, price, fees, tax, currency and refund, chargeback and dispute flags. Buyer details are not returned.
  • list_subscribers: List the active subscribers of one membership product with status, billing recurrence and cancellation, failure and trial dates. Email and license key are not returned.
  • list_payouts: List payouts with amount, currency, status, creation and processing time and payment processor, optionally between two dates. Bank and PayPal details are not returned.
  • get_payout: Get one payout with amount, status, dates and the ids of the sales, refunded sales and disputed sales it covers.
  • get_earnings: Get the annual earnings breakdown for a tax year (gross, fees, taxes, affiliate credit, net) as in the Tax Center. US-based sellers only.

BYOK key

You bring your own Gumroad Gumroad access token (view_sales and view_payouts scopes recommended) (https://gumroad.com/settings/advanced). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.gumroad.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

Sales and subscriber answers leave out buyer email, address, card and license key. Sales, subscribers and payouts need the view_sales or view_payouts scope on the token.
