What Habitify (BYOK) is for

Habitify (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Habitify data through the Habitify API with a key you supply (Habitify API key (paid plan)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_habits, get_habit, get_habit_journal, get_habit_statistics, list_habit_notes, list_areas, get_area). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.habitify.me.   • "Which habits do I track in Habitify?"
  • "Show the details of my reading habit in Habitify"
  • "Which habits did I complete today in Habitify?"
  • "How consistent have I been with my reading habit this month?"
  • "What notes did I write on my meditation habit?"
  • "Which areas do I use to group habits in Habitify?"

What it does

  • list_habits: List your habits with type (good or bad), archived flag, goals, areas and start date. Needs a paid Habitify plan.
  • get_habit: Get one habit with its goals, areas, time-of-day periods and end condition.
  • get_habit_journal: Show every habit's status for one day (completed, skipped, failed or in progress) with current streak and progress toward the goal.
  • get_habit_statistics: Get completion, skip and failure counts, total logged value and an optional daily breakdown for one habit over a date range.
  • list_habit_notes: List the notes attached to one habit, newest first, with text, mood level and creation time.
  • list_areas: List your areas (life categories such as Health or Work) used to group habits.
  • get_area: Get one area's name, colour and creation time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Habitify Habitify API key (paid plan) (https://docs.habitify.me/habitify-introduction). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.habitify.me over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
