What Healthie (BYOK) is for

Healthie (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Healthie data through the Healthie API with a key you supply (Healthie API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_appointment_types, get_appointment_type, list_appointments, get_appointment, list_availabilities, list_programs, get_program). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.gethealthie.com. What it does

  • list_appointment_types: List the appointment types of the Healthie account with name, length in minutes, available contact types and group and waitlist flags. Offset-paged.
  • get_appointment_type: Get one appointment type by ID: name, length in minutes and available contact types.
  • list_appointments: List the organization's appointments with date, length, contact type, location, provider and appointment type. Patient names and contact details are not requested. Offset-paged by Healthie's default page size.
  • get_appointment: Get one appointment by ID: date, contact type, status, provider and appointment type. The patient is not requested.
  • list_availabilities: List provider availability slots (weekday, duration text, repeating flag, range and time zone). Healthie returns nothing unless one of one_time or is_repeating is true.
  • list_programs: List Healthie programs (courses) with name, description, type (rolling or fixed) and start date. Offset-paged.
  • get_program: Get one Healthie program by ID with name, description, type, start date and its modules (category, item type, item ID).

BYOK key

You bring your own Healthie Healthie API key (https://docs.gethealthie.com/guides/api-concepts/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.gethealthie.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

Read-only GraphQL queries about the key owner's own Healthie account setup: appointment types, appointment times with provider, availability and programs. No patient names, charting, messages, forms, labs, insurance or billing data is requested. Accounts on a data shard need an extra shard header that this connector cannot send.
