What HERE Fuel Prices API (your key) is for

HERE Fuel Prices API (your key) lets an AI assistant read your own HERE Fuel Prices data through the HERE Fuel Prices API with a key you supply (HERE API key). Read-only: 7 tools (search_fuel_stations, get_fuel_station, get_fuel_stations_bulk, count_fuel_stations, list_fuel_types, list_fuel_brands, get_service_version). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to fuel.hereapi.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What are the cheapest petrol prices within 5 km of central Berlin?"
  • "Show fuel station 276u33db-8ce1fe1fd8b44f81b7a5ca5ba4f3be1e"
  • "Get the current prices for these two fuel stations"
  • "How many fuel stations are within 10 km of central Berlin?"
  • "Which fuel types can I filter by?"
  • "Which fuel station brands exist in Germany?"

What it does

  • search_fuel_stations: Find fuel stations with current prices inside a circle, bounding box or corridor, sortable by price or distance; returns station name, brand, position, address label and prices per fuel type.
  • get_fuel_station: Get one fuel station by id with brand, address, position, opening flag and current prices.
  • get_fuel_stations_bulk: Get several fuel stations by id in one call; by default only dynamic data (prices), or all data with content=all.
  • count_fuel_stations: Count the fuel stations inside a circle, bounding box or corridor.
  • list_fuel_types: List the fuel types and categories (all petrol, all diesel, LPG, CNG and specific grades) with ids and parent ids.
  • list_fuel_brands: List the fuel station brands, optionally for one country.
  • get_service_version: Show the Fuel Prices API version.

BYOK key

You bring your own HERE Fuel Prices HERE API key (https://platform.here.com/admin/apps). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to fuel.hereapi.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

HERE platform terms limit storing results outside the platform (30 days) and serving one request to many end users. Fuel Prices may need a plan that includes it.
