What HERE Isoline Routing API (your key) is for
HERE Isoline Routing API (your key) lets an AI assistant read your own HERE Isoline data through the HERE Isoline API with a key you supply (HERE API key). Read-only: 6 tools (calculate_car_isoline, calculate_truck_isoline, calculate_pedestrian_isoline, calculate_bicycle_isoline, calculate_scooter_isoline, get_service_version). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to isoline.router.hereapi.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by HERE Isoline. HERE Isoline and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which area can I drive to within 10 minutes of latitude 52.5308, longitude 13.3847?"
- "Which area can a 12 tonne truck reach within 20 minutes of 52.5308,13.3847?"
- "How far can I walk in 15 minutes from 52.5308,13.3847?"
- "What area can I cycle to in 20 minutes from 52.5308,13.3847?"
- "What area can a scooter reach in 10 minutes from 52.5308,13.3847?"
- "Which version of the HERE Isoline Routing API is running?"
What it does
calculate_car_isoline: Compute the area a car can reach from a point (or that can reach it) within given times or distances; returns polygons as flexible polyline strings per range.calculate_truck_isoline: Compute the area a truck can reach from a point within given times or distances, optionally with a gross weight limit in kg; returns polygons as flexible polylines.calculate_pedestrian_isoline: Compute the area reachable on foot from a point within given times or distances; returns polygons as flexible polylines.calculate_bicycle_isoline: Compute the area reachable by bicycle from a point within given times or distances (beta mode in the provider's docs); returns polygons as flexible polylines.calculate_scooter_isoline: Compute the area reachable by scooter from a point within given times or distances; returns polygons as flexible polylines.get_service_version: Show the Isoline Routing API version, service version and map data versions in use.
BYOK key
You bring your own HERE Isoline HERE API key (https://platform.here.com/admin/apps). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to isoline.router.hereapi.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
HERE platform terms limit storing results outside the platform (30 days) and serving one request to many end users. Polygons come as flexible polyline strings.
