What Honeybadger (BYOK) is for
Honeybadger (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Honeybadger data through the Honeybadger API with a key you supply (personal auth token). Read-only: 10 tools (list_accounts, list_projects, get_project, list_faults, get_fault, list_fault_notices, list_deploys, list_check_ins, list_uptime_sites, list_site_outages). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.honeybadger.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Honeybadger. Honeybadger and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Honeybadger accounts do I belong to?"
- "Which Honeybadger projects do I have and how many unresolved errors does each have?"
- "Show Honeybadger project 1"
- "What unresolved errors does my Honeybadger project have in production?"
- "Show Honeybadger error 2 in project 1"
- "Show the latest occurrences of Honeybadger error 2"
What it does
list_accounts: List the Honeybadger accounts the token's user belongs to, with id, name and active flag.list_projects: List Honeybadger projects across the user's accounts (or one account) with fault counts, environments and last error time.get_project: Get one Honeybadger project: name, environments, error counts, last error time and uptime sites.list_faults: List a project's faults (errors) with class, message, environment, resolved and ignored flags, occurrence count and last occurrence time.get_fault: Get one fault (error) of a project: class, message, environment, status flags, occurrence count, assignee and tags.list_fault_notices: List individual occurrences (notices) of a fault, newest first, with time, message and link. Request details, cookies and session data are left out.list_deploys: List a project's deploys, newest first, with environment, revision, repository, deploying user and time.list_check_ins: List a project's check-ins (cron and scheduled-job monitors) with state, schedule, last report time and missed count.list_uptime_sites: List a project's uptime-monitored sites with URL, current state (up or down), check frequency and last check time.list_site_outages: List past outages of one uptime site with start, end, HTTP status and reason.
BYOK key
You bring your own Honeybadger personal auth token (https://app.honeybadger.io/users/edit). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.honeybadger.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
