What Housecall Pro (BYOK) is for

Housecall Pro (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Housecall Pro data through the Housecall Pro API with a key you supply (Housecall Pro API key (needs a plan that includes API access)). Read-only: 10 tools (get_company, list_jobs, get_job, list_job_appointments, list_estimates, list_invoices, list_leads, list_customers, list_employees, list_job_types). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.housecallpro.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which company is my Housecall Pro key connected to?"
  • "Which Housecall Pro jobs are scheduled this week?"
  • "Show Housecall Pro job job_1"
  • "When are the visits for job job_1?"
  • "Which Housecall Pro estimates are scheduled?"
  • "Which Housecall Pro invoices are still open?"

What it does

  • get_company: Show the company behind the key: name, website, phone, time zone and address.
  • list_jobs: List jobs with invoice number, description, work status, customer name, city, schedule, totals in cents and tags; filter by customer or start time.
  • get_job: Get one job by id with description, work status, customer name, city, schedule and totals in cents.
  • list_job_appointments: List the appointments of one job with date, start and end time, anytime flag and arrival window.
  • list_estimates: List estimates with number, work status, customer name, city and schedule; filter by customer or start time.
  • list_invoices: List invoices with status, number, amounts in cents, due date, paid date and job id; filter by status or created date.
  • list_leads: List leads with number, status, pipeline stage, lead source, tags and total in cents; filter by status or customer.
  • list_customers: List or search customers by name, email, phone or address text; returns names, company, lead source and tags (contact details are left out).
  • list_employees: List active employees with name, role, tags and colour (contact details and permissions are left out).
  • list_job_types: List the job types defined for the company, optionally filtered by name.

BYOK key

You bring your own Housecall Pro Housecall Pro API key (needs a plan that includes API access) (https://docs.housecallpro.com/docs/housecall-public-api/b87d37ae48a0d-authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.housecallpro.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
