What Humanitec (BYOK) is for

Humanitec (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Humanitec data through the Humanitec API with a key you supply (Humanitec API token (static token of a service user or user)). Read-only: 11 tools (list_organizations, get_organization, list_applications, list_environments, list_deployments, list_active_resources, list_pipelines, list_pipeline_runs, list_environment_types, list_resource_definitions, list_resource_types). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.humanitec.io.   • "Which Humanitec organizations can I access?"
  • "Show my Humanitec organization"
  • "Which applications exist in my Humanitec organization?"
  • "Which environments does my Humanitec app have and were their last deploys healthy?"
  • "What were the latest deployments of my Humanitec development environment?"
  • "What resources are provisioned in my Humanitec development environment?"

What it does

  • list_organizations: List the Humanitec organizations the token has access to.
  • get_organization: Get one organization by ID.
  • list_applications: List applications in the organization with status and their environments.
  • list_environments: List the environments of an application with type, status and the status and time of the last deployment.
  • list_deployments: List deployments of an environment, newest first, with status, comment, mode and time.
  • list_active_resources: List the active resources (databases, DNS, volumes and so on) provisioned in an environment with type, class, status and driver.
  • list_pipelines: List delivery pipelines of the organization with application, status, version and trigger types.
  • list_pipeline_runs: List pipeline runs newest first with status, trigger, environments and start and completion time.
  • list_environment_types: List environment types (for example development, staging, production) of the organization.
  • list_resource_definitions: List resource definitions with type, driver, default flag and version. Driver inputs and secrets are not returned.
  • list_resource_types: List resource types available in the organization with category and use.

BYOK key

You bring your own Humanitec Humanitec API token (static token of a service user or user) (https://app.humanitec.io). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.humanitec.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
