What Hund (BYOK) is for

Hund (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Hund data through the Hund API with a key you supply (API key with global (account-wide) permissions). Read-only: 9 tools (list_status_pages, get_status_page, list_components, list_groups, list_issues, get_issue, list_issue_updates, list_watchdogs, list_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.hund.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Hund. Hund and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Hund status pages do I have?"
  • "Show Hund status page 5f1"
  • "Which Hund components are currently down?"
  • "How are my Hund components grouped?"
  • "Are there any ongoing Hund incidents?"
  • "Show Hund issue i1"

What it does

  • list_status_pages: List the account's status pages with name, subdomain, time zone, website, locale and enabled upgrades.
  • get_status_page: Get one status page's settings by ID.
  • list_components: List monitored components with name, current status, uptime percentage, last event time and watchdog.
  • list_groups: List component groups with name, status, position and member component IDs.
  • list_issues: List incidents and maintenances with title, label, specialization, timing and resolved or cancelled flags; filter to ongoing, upcoming or resolved.
  • get_issue: Get one incident or maintenance with title, label, timing and flags.
  • list_issue_updates: List the updates posted on one incident with label, time and whether they are in effect.
  • list_watchdogs: List watchdogs (the monitors behind components) with service type, high-frequency flag and latest status.
  • list_events: List the account's event log (status changes, notifications) with kind, state, downtime and related object.

BYOK key

You bring your own Hund API key with global (account-wide) permissions (https://hund.io/account). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.hund.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Hund API (api.hund.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://hund.io/api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Hund. Hund and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Hund account.
