What Impact (BYOK) is for

Impact (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Impact data through the Impact API with a key you supply (impact.com Account SID). Read-only: 12 tools (list_programs, get_program, list_partners, get_partner, list_partner_groups, list_deals, list_promo_codes, list_ads, list_actions, list_action_items, list_contracts, list_invoices). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.impact.com. What it does

  • list_programs: List your brand's programs (campaigns) with state, type, tracking domain and promo code tracking; filter by name or state.
  • get_program: Get one program with its categories, tracking settings and gateway tracking configuration. Company contacts are left out.
  • list_partners: List the media partners (affiliates, creators, publishers) in your account with state, type, country, categories and the programs they joined. Contacts, phone and tax numbers are left out.
  • get_partner: Get one media partner with description, website, type, country, promotional methods, properties and joined programs. Contacts, phone and tax numbers are left out.
  • list_partner_groups: List the partner groups of a program with their member partners.
  • list_deals: List your deals (sales, free shipping, gifts, rebates) with scope, discount, default promo code and validity dates; filter by program, scope, state or type.
  • list_promo_codes: List promo codes with the partner they are assigned to, linked deal, discount and validity dates.
  • list_ads: List the ads (banners, text links, coupons) with type, program, landing page and dates; filter by program, type, deal or creation date.
  • list_actions: List tracked actions (sales, leads) with state, payout, amount, partner and dates; filter by program, state and date window. Customer identifiers and IP addresses are left out.
  • list_action_items: List the line items (SKU, name, quantity, sale amount, payout) of one tracked action.
  • list_contracts: List a program's partner contracts with status, dates and template terms name; filter by status or partner.
  • list_invoices: List invoices from impact.com for your account with partner, currency, totals and line items; filter by creation date.

BYOK key

You bring your own Impact impact.com Account SID (https://app.impact.com/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.impact.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
