What Invoice Ninja Expenses (BYOK) is for

Invoice Ninja Expenses (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Invoice Ninja Expenses data through the Invoice Ninja Expenses API with a key you supply (Invoice Ninja API token (hosted plan at invoicing.co)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_expenses, get_expense, list_recurring_expenses, get_recurring_expense, list_purchase_orders, get_purchase_order). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to invoicing.co. What it does

• list_expenses: List expenses with number, date, payment date, amount, tax, category, vendor and client ids and the should-be-invoiced flag. Notes and custom fields are not returned.
• get_expense: Get one expense by its id with date, amount, tax, category, vendor and client ids.
• list_recurring_expenses: List recurring expenses with amount, frequency id, remaining cycles, last and next send dates, category, vendor and client ids.
• get_recurring_expense: Get one recurring expense by its id with amount, frequency and next send date.
• list_purchase_orders: List purchase orders with number, status id, dates, amount, balance, paid to date, taxes and the vendor id. Line items and notes are not returned.
• get_purchase_order: Get one purchase order by its id with dates, amount, balance, paid to date, taxes and the vendor id.

BYOK key

You bring your own Invoice Ninja Expenses Invoice Ninja API token (hosted plan at invoicing.co) (https://invoicing.co/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to invoicing.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
