What Invoice Ninja Settings (BYOK) is for

Invoice Ninja Settings (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Invoice Ninja Settings data through the Invoice Ninja Settings API with a key you supply (Invoice Ninja API token (hosted plan at invoicing.co)). Read-only: 8 tools (list_tax_rates, list_payment_terms, list_task_statuses, list_expense_categories, list_designs, list_client_groups, list_tags, list_subscriptions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to invoicing.co. What it does

  • list_tax_rates: List the configured tax rates with id, name, rate in percent and whether each is deleted.
  • list_payment_terms: List the payment terms (name and number of days) available for invoices.
  • list_task_statuses: List the task statuses with name, color, order and deleted flag.
  • list_expense_categories: List the expense categories with id, name and deleted flag.
  • list_designs: List the invoice designs (built-in and custom) with name and whether each is custom and active. The HTML of the design is not returned.
  • list_client_groups: List client group settings (the groups that hold shared defaults for clients) with id and name only; the settings objects are not returned.
  • list_tags: List tags that can be put on tasks or projects, optionally for one entity type or searched by name.
  • list_subscriptions: List subscription products with the linked product and recurring invoice ids, frequency, auto bill setting, trial and refund settings and currency id.

BYOK key

You bring your own Invoice Ninja Settings Invoice Ninja API token (hosted plan at invoicing.co) (https://invoicing.co/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to invoicing.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
