What InvoiceXpress (BYOK) is for

InvoiceXpress (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own InvoiceXpress data through the InvoiceXpress API with a key you supply (InvoiceXpress API key). Read-only: 10 tools (list_invoices, get_invoice, list_estimates, get_quote, list_clients, get_client, list_items, list_taxes, list_sequences, list_guides). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.app.invoicexpress.com. What it does

  • list_invoices: List invoices of one type and status with number, dates, totals, currency and client. The API requires a type and a status; call again for other statuses.
  • get_invoice: Get one invoice by id with number, status, dates, totals, client, line items (name, price, quantity, tax) and payment reference.
  • list_estimates: List quotes, proformas or fees notes with number, status, dates, totals and client. The API requires a type and a status.
  • get_quote: Get one quote by id with number, status, dates, totals, client and line items.
  • list_clients: List clients with name, code, e-mail, address, country, phone and preferred contact. Fiscal ids are not returned.
  • get_client: Get one client by id with contact details, payment days and observations. The fiscal id is not returned.
  • list_items: List the saved items (products and services) with name, description, unit price, unit and tax.
  • list_taxes: List the tax rates defined in the account with name, region, percentage and default flag.
  • list_sequences: List the document sequences (series) with id, series name and whether it is the default.
  • list_guides: List delivery guides (Shipping, Transport or Devolution) with number, status, dates, addresses and client. The API requires a type and a status.

BYOK key

You bring your own InvoiceXpress InvoiceXpress API key (https://www.app.invoicexpress.com/users/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.app.invoicexpress.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
