What Inworld (BYOK) is for

Inworld (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Inworld data through the Inworld API with a key you supply (Inworld API key (the Base64 credential)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_voices, get_voice, list_tts_voices, list_llm_models, query_usage, list_videos, list_routers). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.inworld.ai. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Inworld. Inworld and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Inworld voices are female English voices?"
  • "Describe the Inworld voice Alex"
  • "Which Inworld speech voices exist for Spanish?"
  • "Which models does the Inworld Router offer from Anthropic?"
  • "How many characters of speech did I use on Inworld per model last week?"
  • "Which of my Inworld video jobs failed?"

What it does

  • list_voices: List text-to-speech voices (system, your clones and optionally community voices) with language, gender, age group and tags; supports an AIP-160 filter.
  • get_voice: Get one voice's language, description, source, gender, age group and tags.
  • list_tts_voices: List the voices usable for speech synthesis, optionally limited to one language, and mark which are custom voices of your workspace.
  • list_llm_models: List the LLM models reachable through the Inworld Router with provider, context length, capabilities, per-token prices and recent reliability.
  • query_usage: Get metered usage volume (characters, tokens, audio seconds) per UTC day or hour, optionally grouped by service, model or provider. Needs the Builder plan or above; covers the last 30 days.
  • list_videos: List video generation jobs, newest first, with model, status, length, resolution and expiry; the finished video link is not returned.
  • list_routers: List the names and display names of Router configurations in the workspace.

BYOK key

You bring your own Inworld Inworld API key (the Base64 credential) (https://platform.inworld.ai/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.inworld.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Inworld API (api.inworld.ai) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.inworld.ai/api-reference/voiceAPI/voiceservice/list-voices. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Inworld. Inworld and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Inworld account.
