What Iterable (BYOK) is for

Iterable (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Iterable data through the Iterable API with a key you supply (server-side API key (project in the US data center)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_campaigns, get_campaign, list_journeys, list_lists, list_templates, list_channels, list_message_types, list_catalogs, get_user_by_email, list_user_sent_messages). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.iterable.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Iterable. Iterable and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Iterable campaigns are running or scheduled?"
  • "Show Iterable campaign 1234567."
  • "Which Iterable journeys are enabled?"
  • "What lists do I have in Iterable?"
  • "Which email templates exist in Iterable?"
  • "What channels are set up in Iterable?"

What it does

  • list_campaigns: List campaign metadata with name, type (Blast or Triggered), state, medium, send size and dates (Unix milliseconds). Sortable; pages by number.
  • get_campaign: Get one campaign by id with name, type, state, medium, send size, template id, list ids and dates.
  • list_journeys: List journeys (workflows) with name, enabled flag, type, limits and dates; archived journeys are left out. Up to 50 per page.
  • list_lists: List all user lists with id, name, type (Standard, Dynamic, Suppression, Internal) and creation time.
  • list_templates: List project templates with name, template id, campaign id and dates; filter by type (Base, Blast, Triggered, Workflow) or medium (Email, Push, InApp, SMS).
  • list_channels: List channels with id, name, type (Marketing or Transactional) and medium (Email, Push, SMS).
  • list_message_types: List message types with channel id, subscription policy (OptIn or OptOut), frequency cap and rate limit.
  • list_catalogs: List catalog names with the total number of catalogs; pages by number.
  • get_user_by_email: Get one user profile by email address with user id and data fields.
  • list_user_sent_messages: List messages sent to one user (by email or user id) with campaign id, template id, message id and time. Up to 1000 per call.

BYOK key

You bring your own Iterable server-side API key (project in the US data center) (https://app.iterable.com/settings/apiKeys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.iterable.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Iterable API (api.iterable.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://api.iterable.com/api/docs. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Iterable. Iterable and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Iterable account.
