What JobNimbus (BYOK) is for

JobNimbus (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own JobNimbus data through the JobNimbus API with a key you supply (JobNimbus API key). Read-only: 10 tools (list_contacts, get_contact, list_jobs, get_job, list_tasks, list_activities, list_invoices, list_work_orders, list_products, list_team_members). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.jobnimbus.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which JobNimbus contacts were added most recently?"
  • "Show JobNimbus contact 1l7"
  • "Which JobNimbus jobs are in Lead status?"
  • "Show JobNimbus job 3pg"
  • "Which JobNimbus tasks are still open?"
  • "What happened recently on our JobNimbus jobs?"

What it does

  • list_contacts: List contacts (customers and leads) with record type, status, lead source, sales rep and city; dates are Unix seconds. Phone and email are left out.
  • get_contact: Get one contact by its jnid with record type, status, source, sales rep and city.
  • list_jobs: List jobs with number, name, record type, workflow status, sales rep, city and dates (Unix seconds).
  • get_job: Get one job by its jnid with number, name, status, sales rep and city.
  • list_tasks: List tasks with title, type, priority, completion flag, start and end times (Unix seconds) and the contacts or jobs they relate to.
  • list_activities: List the activity feed (notes, status changes, created records) with note text, author, related record and date.
  • list_invoices: List invoices with number, status, subtotal, tax, total, amount paid, amount due, dates (Unix seconds) and the job or contact they belong to.
  • list_work_orders: List work orders of the account (the answer is shown as the API returns it, cut to the first items).
  • list_products: List the products and materials in the price list (the answer is shown as the API returns it, cut to the first items).
  • list_team_members: List the account's users with name and active flag.

BYOK key

You bring your own JobNimbus JobNimbus API key (https://app.jobnimbus.com/settings). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.jobnimbus.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
