What JustCall (BYOK) is for

JustCall (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own JustCall data through the JustCall API with a key you supply (JustCall API key and secret joined by a colon (api_key:api_secret)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_phone_numbers, list_contacts, list_texts, list_text_threads, list_text_tags, list_user_groups, list_voice_agents, list_sales_dialer_campaigns, get_account_call_analytics). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.justcall.io.   • "Which SMS threads are open on my JustCall number?"
  • "Which SMS tags exist in JustCall?"
  • "What user groups does JustCall have?"

What it does

  • list_phone_numbers: List the JustCall phone numbers of the account with line name, type, capabilities, availability setting and status.
  • list_contacts: List JustCall contacts with name, number, email, company, status (Blacklist, DND, DNM) and notes. Defaults to the contacts of the key owner.
  • list_texts: List SMS and MMS texts with direction, JustCall number, contact, delivery status, body and date.
  • list_text_threads: List SMS threads of one JustCall phone line with the latest text and applied tags.
  • list_text_tags: List the SMS thread tags defined in JustCall.
  • list_user_groups: List JustCall user groups with extension and members.
  • list_voice_agents: List JustCall AI voice agents with name, active flag, assigned numbers and creation time.
  • list_sales_dialer_campaigns: List Sales Dialer campaigns with type (PowerDial, Predictive, Dynamic), status, default number and creator.
  • get_account_call_analytics: Get account-level call analytics for a date range: incoming and outgoing calls, answer rate, missed calls, average talk, hold and queue times.

BYOK key

You bring your own JustCall JustCall API key and secret joined by a colon (api_key:api_secret) (https://app.justcall.io/app/developersApiCredentials). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.justcall.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

Paste the API key and the API secret as one value separated by a colon, for example abc123:def456. API access needs the JustCall Team plan or higher.
