What Kontent.ai Management (BYOK) is for
Kontent.ai Management (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Kontent.ai Management data through the Kontent.ai Management API with a key you supply (Management API key). Read-only: 11 tools (list_content_types, get_content_type, list_content_type_snippets, list_content_items, get_content_item, list_assets, list_languages, list_taxonomies, list_collections, list_workflows, list_spaces). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to manage.kontent.ai. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Kontent.ai Management. Kontent.ai Management and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What content types does my Kontent.ai environment have?"
- "What elements does the Kontent.ai content type 'article' have?"
- "Which Kontent.ai content type snippets exist?"
- "Which content items are in my Kontent.ai environment?"
- "Show Kontent.ai content item i1"
- "Which images are in my Kontent.ai asset library?"
What it does
list_content_types: List the content types (content model) of the environment with name, codename, elements and content groups. Returns the first page only; the pagination object carries a continuation token when more exists.get_content_type: Get one content type by internal ID with all its elements.list_content_type_snippets: List content type snippets (reusable groups of elements) with name, codename and elements. Returns the first page only; the pagination object carries a continuation token when more exists.list_content_items: List content items (not their per-language content) with name, codename, content type, collection and last modified time. Returns the first page only; the pagination object carries a continuation token when more exists.get_content_item: Get one content item by internal ID: name, codename, content type, collection and last modified time.list_assets: List assets with file name, title, type, size, image dimensions, URL, collection and folder. Returns the first page only; the pagination object carries a continuation token when more exists.list_languages: List the languages of the environment with name, codename, active and default flags and fallback language. Returns the first page only; the pagination object carries a continuation token when more exists.list_taxonomies: List taxonomy groups with name, codename and their terms. Returns the first page only; the pagination object carries a continuation token when more exists.list_collections: List the content collections of the environment with ID, name and codename.list_workflows: List the workflows with name, codename, scopes, steps and the published, scheduled and archived steps.list_spaces: List the spaces (web spotlight channels) of the environment with name, codename, root item and collections.
BYOK key
You bring your own Kontent.ai Management Management API key (https://kontent.ai/learn/docs/apis/management-api-v2/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to manage.kontent.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
